Taylor's Dance Company provides dance tuition for all ages & abilities in Braintree and Colchester.

Established in 2015, Taylor’s Dance Company strives to bring fun, confidence building and a love of dance to all. We believe dancing is for everyone so our classes are all-inclusive- everyone & anyone can join! 

Taylor's Dance Company promotes good technique & brilliant performance skills, we use a mix of syllabus and routine-based learning. We work towards performances for our family & friends at community events, our biennial show & IDTA examinations.

We offer children's classes, adult classes, holiday workshops, wedding lessons, school clubs, & much much more.

 CLASSES

We offer fun & vibrant classes for children & adults.

Our children's classes cover a variety of dance styles in fun & relaxed classes.
We ensure that all classes suit the pupils attending whether they have had previous experience or are new to dance.

Our Mini Classes cover modern & ballet in one fun-filled class! Using simple exercises & fun routines, we teach the basics of dance while having lots and lots of fun. Focusing on building confidence in our pupils we focus on performance and provide lots of opportunities to perform in front of family & friends.

Core Styles- Ballet & Modern
45 Minutes - £28.50 per month

In our primary classes not only do our pupils continue to improve and add to their modern & ballet skills- they also start to learn tap! We start to focus a little more on their dance technique while building our confidence and performance skills.

Core Styles- Ballet, Tap & Modern
1 hour- £30.40 per month

Junior Classes cover Ballet, Tap & Modern in one class! We maintain and grow our technique skills. At this age we start to explore different dance styles including contemporary, street and rock & roll.

Core Styles- Ballet, Tap & Modern
1 hour & 30 minutes: £36.10 per month

Our pupils continue their dance journey at our Senior Classes. Taking a more mature approach to dance and classes, we encourage our Senior pupils to be role models for our younger pupils. We still cover our core subjects of ballet, tap and modern, but we explore different styles including contemporary, street further.

Acro Dance combines the graceful movements of dance and difficult tricks from acrobatics/gymnastics.

Perfect if you love gymnastics & dance!

Primary Classes (Year 1- Year 3)-
45 Minutes- £28.50 per month

Junior Classes (Year 4- Year 6)-
1 Hour- £30.40 per month

Senior Classes (Year 7+)
1 Hour- £30.40 per month

Only available in Braintree

Our pre-pointe classes uses ballet technique and strengthening exercises to get pupils ready for pointe shoes.

Age 11+
Pupils must have studied ballet for a number of years.

45 Minutes- £28.50 per month
Only available in Braintree

Our Elite Performance Team maintain and grow their dance skills. The team represents TDC in community performances and competitions. We encourage the team to be role models to our younger pupils, and provide a helping hand with the younger pupils at events.

A registration fee is paid on enrollment. All prices are including VAT and will be subject to a platform fee.

 

Whether you are returning to dance or looking to start a new skill, our adult classes provide an option for all.

Our Advanced Adult class is suitable for anyone who has danced before. The class covers a mix of ballet, tap, modern, and many other styles.

You can dance for fun, or take part in exams and our biennial show.

Ages 18+
Must have ballet & tap experience to an intermediate level.

1 hour & 30 minutes- £36.10 per month

Only Available in Braintree

Our pointe classes suit pupils who have been en-pointe for a while and would like to continue their training.

Age 16+
Pupils must have studied ballet for several years.

45 Minutes- £19.00 per month
Only available in Braintree

Our Intermediate Adult Tap class is perfect for anyone who has tapped before recently or when they were younger! We learn more advanced steps, and learn routines with more steps at a faster pace!

Age 18+ Women Only.


Colchester- 1 hour - £28.50 per month

Braintree- 1 hour - £28.50 per month

Must have previous tap experience.
